I have basically been rapping for almost 1 month and a half and this is my first full lenght song that ive made myself except the beat. So any comments or constructive critisism would be great. Lyrics: Verse 1 back in the day life was careless, i was fearless.. nothing bothered me.. i feelt so free.. hung out with my friends.. climbed in trees.. around town i was skatin old ladies were hatin.. but i was just having fun.. doing what kids do.. using my water gun.. It was around there it all started.. my love for hiphop... this culture was uncharted.. i started to breakdance.. doing backspins and rockin my b-boy stance.. i got a glance.. of this undiscovered culture.. cointaining 4 parts.. i thought everyone of them was art.. emceeing was chill... gangstarr was ill.. even though i couldnt paint.. i looked at the bricks.. and thought it was sick.. it looked like the walls were playin tricks.. coming a live i was feeling the vibe.. listened more to rap.. the other stuff was wack.. i liked the older tracks.. like biggies 10 crack.. commandments.. Eric B and rakim was holding it down.. as i b-boyed i made other bboys frown.. i won a contest and was now the best in town.. It feelt good having found.. were belonged.. among discjockeys.. and rap songs.. Hook x2 I love this culture containing 4 parts.. every single one of them.. is art. Djing is chill.. graffiti is ill.. we need all of them for hiphop to be fulfilled... Verse 2 I keept breaking.. any contest was for the takin.. started playing basketball.. shooting hoops.. couldnt do the alleyoop.. i still played day and night.. never got into a fight.. thats right.. i was never a thug never did anything criminal, im not playing.. just saying.. Instead of doing that i B-boyed and stayed on the court.. held my forth.. as i got older and wiser.. i realized that the oldschool stuff was alot nicer.. than the music playing on the radio.. it made my head hurt what was happening to this earth?! All i heard was money money money big cars and hoes.. the lyrics had no content.. no input it was lyrical nonsense..straigh bullshit was coming out of these... money making machines.. it made me mad.. bring hiphop back.. god damn.. Its a shame... that its gotten to this point.. but there still is... some cats making ill joints.. making real hiphop.. the way its supposed to be.. maybe one day everyone will see.. but i dont want it to be mainstream.. just for people to discover what hiphop really is.. thats it..
