On July 24th, 2010, Raerock made 24 films in 24 hours by himself for the youtube/lifeinaday project in the area of Vancouver, Canada. This is one of them.* The segments: 1: 0314- My Name is Raerock (720 24p HD, part of a 38 minute segment) Head shaving 2: 0330- Finish Letting Go (720 24pHD, part of a 38 minute segment) Head shaving 3: 0400- Vector Beach (1080p HD, part of an 84 minute segment, kayak mount) Bringing kayak to the beach 4: Dawn- Parentheses I Vancouver (1080p HD, part of an 84 minute segment) Kayaking on Burrard inlet as the sun rises over the mountains 5: 0500- Reshore (1080p HD, part of an 84 minute segment) Returning home with the kayak 6: 0700- Greenscreen (this segment 1080i, also shot in 720 p and isight format) Some of the talk on Greenscreen- very very early in the morning! 7: 1000- Bicycle Cam (1080p HD, camera 1 of 2, 51 minutes of footage total) A scoot around kitsilano pool before many people were there. 8: Afternoon- Stanley Park Lions (1080p HD, camera 1 of 2, 95 minutes total) Driving through Stanley Park and the Lion's Gate Bridge Segments 9 through 16: Diving the Grant Hall, Porteau Cove Wreck Diving on the Sunshine Coast Shot in 1080p and 720p HD, parts of a 137 minute segment Suggestion: play back segments 10 and 14 in dual screen synchrony. 17: 1600- Alaskakall (this segment 720 HD, 24p) Talking with Kat in Alaska about dogsledding on the glaciers 18: 1620- Porteau to Lions Bay, BC (1080p HD, underslung and upside down, 60 min) Driving back down the Sunshine Coast to Vancouver 19: 1715- Catching pavement (1080p HD, underslung and upside down, 60 min) Watch for the moment where the camera housing just grazes the pavement at 50 km/h! 20: 1830- Shivani and Narayan (1080p HD, single cam) Visiting with friends 21: 1900- Walkntalk (1080p HD, single cam) A walk in the park 22: 1930- For the trees (1080p HD) Singing with friends 23: Sunset- Parentheses II (1080i) Just in time for the sunset 24: 2230- Fireworks exploding in the distance (720 24p, also shot in 1080i and 1080p) Suggestion: show as a multiple format screen in screen collage.
