Lauryn Hill is back with a re-education and we've got the 411 just ahead on Black Fuzion TV. Hi! Welcome to Black Fuzion TV, your one stop shop to all that's hot in Black Entertainment. I'm Taya Roberts, aka The Big Wig, coming to you from our Atlanta headquarters with good news for Lauryn Hill Fans. As the voice of a generation, Lauryn Hill shaped and molded the hearts and minds of her audience. We fell in love with her as a third of the hip-hop trio, The Fugess and then watched her launch out on her own as a solo artist with "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" and into what most believed to be more than a promising career. But five Grammys later, Ms. Hill let us all know "It Ain't Working" when she walked away from the music industry. That was nearly 10 years ago. In that space of time she's done few public appearances and almost no interviews which left us wondering, exactly why did she walk away? It's been hard to tell fact from fiction but when the soulful MC performed a few weeks ago at the Harmony Festival in Santa Rosa, California it ignited a new story that Ms. Hill is back! In an interview with NPR, Lauryn opened up about why she disappeared saying, "the support system that I needed was not necessarily in place." But as she also mentioned, now that she's had time to grow away from the spotlight and her children are older she's starting to get excited again. In regards to her return to music she went on to say, "I think it's just time." True artists like Lauryn Hill don't come around often and as true fans, we are always willing to embrace their return.
